Q: Why is there a research and planning fee?

A: This fee compensates me for my time during the planning phase of creating the perfect vacation for you. Research is very time intensive and can take weeks for exotic and/or complex vacation itineraries.

Q: Why is the travel concierge service so expensive?

A: Grandeur Travel Planning is a one person company and the concierge fee covers the lost revenue for the week of travel dedicated to clients who choose to have me be their travel guide since I will be 100% focused on that clients trip and not planning vacations for other clients during that period of time.

Q: What is a travel week?

A: We understand that for most people vacation begins when you finish your last day of work, and ends when you return home. For most, that means vacations often start Friday evening and end the following Sunday which is a 10 day period of time. With this in mind, our fees cover up to 10 days of travel planning. Any trip exceeding 10 days of travel will require additional fees.

Q: How long will it take to get my vacation plan?

A: Once the initial consultation is completed, it will take 5-10 business days depending on the length and complexity of your trip. Extremely complicated itineraries can take longer to plan and an appropriate timeline with progress reports will be given for such cases.

Q: Does the initial consultation really take 30 minutes?

A: No. It usually takes less than 30 minutes depending on the length and complexity of the trip you want to take.

Q: Does the initial consultation cost anything?

A: No. The initial consultation is completely free.
